A: Most Saturdays are booked a month or more in advance. If possible, before you establish a party date, call Tobi for availability.This way Tobi can work with you to find a mutually convenient time on your calendar.
A: She will offer a 3 hour hold for most events. After the 3 hr hold expires, someone else may claim the date if Tobi has not heard from you. In most cases, Tobi will attempt to call you first prior to booking the other client, but that may not always be possible.
A: Yes. Each of the
testimonials can be phoned for verification and Tobi has many more available. In fact, to date, we have never had an unsatisfied customer.
A: Yes. The birthday baby's cousins and friends ages 2 and up have a blast!
A: Personal checks and cash are preferred. However, Tobi can email an invoice with an option to pay thru PayPal the day of the event, if needed.
A: Yes. Tobi carries General Liability Insurance and can provide documentation upon request.
A: No. If you book Tobi, you get Tobi. If Tobi is booked already, she may refer you to another performer in your area.
A: It is customary to tip any performer, but Tobi is understanding of many families that are in financial hardship and may not be able to tip. Sometimes a big hug and a nice thank you email is the better than a financial reward, because it comes from the heart :)
Q: I have found a huge price difference between some balloon artists. What is the deal?A: It is the difference betweeen hobbyists and professionals. With any art or talent, experience and practice make the difference between a novice and an expert. You don't want your Realtor, Doctor or Lawyer to have less than 80 hours a year in their practice, working with children is no different. Moreover, professionals will be fully insured and much faster at their craft....meaning you get much more in a shorter amount of time. (Example: a new balloon artist averages 1 balloon every 3-5 minutes, a expert can do a balloon in 1-2 minutes saving you a ton of money!)
A: No, but if you need someone in clown makeup, she'd be happy to refer you to a professional clown. Tobi has found that smaller children are very nervous around entertainers who cover their faces entirely with makeup.
